Pregnancy, child, birth, labour all these words are synonymous with women from ages. It's always about the mom and child. Their bond, her sacrifices, body and tensions. Have you ever thought about the man who is involved in the whole process? No, why do we when its a women thing!
During the past, pregnancy was obviously a women thing. Now, as the time went by men are equally involved in the entire process. Whether its a hospital visit or an evening walk or changing a diaper, they are ready to be with their wife. This small small acts from men are much more appreciated and it gives a reassuring feel to the exhausted new mom's.
As you guessed, this write up is about my hubby, the eight month old dad of my princess. A baby is always a surprise! When those two tiny pink lines appeared in the pregnancy detection kit, it was a surprise and from that moment our life changed! When you can find a quite confused mommy-to-be on one side, on the other there was a dad who wants to make everything perfect for his little one. The one who was curious about everything happening inside and outside his wife's body, mind and thoughts.
From day one he was there for me as a strong pillar. Being a sales professional, he lacks time for us and he was never on time to home. He doesn't miss a single visit to hospital with me. For anything and everything he was there. Even its my emotional trauma in the evenings or cravings in midnight he didnt disappoint me. He patiently dealt with me and even after a tiring day at office he doesn't bother to enter kitchen, when I was not feeling to cook. What else could a pregnant wife ask for!
Whenever I say I cant do this, he reassured me. Whenever I felt low, he made my spirits up. It was only because of him, I never gave up. With all the beautiful things happening inside my womb and the messy things outside my body, he made me believe that am glowing with our baby bump. He didn't left for job, without talking to our baby. He did that all the time, and you can imagine to which sound our baby reacted for the first time!
While the journey through those nine months was a mixed emotional for me, he enjoyed each second and tried to fill it with happiness. In our story, it was him who eagerly waited for her arrival. It was him who loved her before me. And am proud and happy to say that in our story dad was born first. Our little princess, Ofcourse she is daddy's girl.
