... Unless It's Not A Call From Heart

“I swear…”

“No, am done with this. Do you know how many times you said the same word to me?”

“Last time, please… I mean it.”

“I said NO.”

“What if, this time I am not wrong and what I did, that was by my heart?”

“I have work. Will you leave me alone?”

“Please, just give this a look, then you can go to your work or you can blame me more.”

“For the last time. Don’t repeat this.”

“Promise”

Giving the young lady a harsh look, she turned to the door. And there stands her Dad and Mom, with flowers and singing her “Happy Birthday.” Giving the young lady, who stands with a winked expression, a teary smile she just ran to hug them.

“Maa, I promised you na, I won’t be late to home unless it’s not a call from heart! Am sorry, I couldn’t   think of any other gift for you on your special day. Once again sorry maa and happy birthday… and I promise…”

She hugged her daughter very close and said, “… unless it’s not a call from heart.”
